Thousands gathered Saturday at USC’s University Park Campus to celebrate the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, an annual tradition that has become the nation’s largest literary and cultural festival. It’s the 28th year for the festival, which USC has hosted since 2011. The festival continues Sunday. Admission is free, though some conversation events require tickets, which can be obtained online.
