Guarino Sabate, 26, yesterday thanked his fans for lobbying Universal, who gave him permission to use the soundtrack. Spanish figure skater Tomas-Llorenc Guarino Sabate competes in the men’s short program of the International Skating Union European Figure Skating Championships in Sheffield, England, on Jan. 15. “I’m so happy to see that the minions hitting Olympic ice is becoming real again!! Guarino Sabate dressed in a yellow T-shirt and blue overalls during his performance to resemble the popular animated characters.
