MANILA, Philippines — Part-Filipino R&B artist, H.E.R., bagged two Grammy awards on Monday (Manila time). Filipino-American H.E.R., whose real name is Gabriella "Gabi" Wilson, won Grammys for Best R&B album for the self-titled compilation of her first two EPs. In January this year, the R&B star confirmed she found her music interest in her Filipino roots. She shared that she has Filipino blood on "The Late Late Show with James Corden.”"I'm half Filipino and Filipinos love karaoke. So yeah, I love to sing, I've always been around music my entire life and I just gravitated towards instruments," Wilson said.
