Veteran film journalist Ali Peter John met with a road accident on Saturday morning in Mumbai and sustained a serious injury. He has been admitted to the Nanavati hospital for surgery. The 67-year-old journalist has closely tracked the film fraternity and worked with Screen magazine for more than 35 years. John has worked in the industry for almost four decades and his book on Amitabh Bachhan was recently launched by Bachchan himself. He was later taken to the Nanavati hospital for proper treatment and was operated on the same day.
