more-inThe State Cabinet’s decision to include Harapanahalli taluk of Davangere district within Ballari district has fulfilled a long-pending dream of the people here. With this move, the people of the taluk will receive all facilities extended to Hyderabad Karnataka region under Article 371(J). Ravindra, Harapanahalli MLA, and raised slogans in favour of the State government and the MLA. Though Harapanahalli taluk was part of Ballari district, it was separated in 1997 owing to technical reasons. Since then, the people and elected representatives had been making sustained efforts to include the taluk within Ballari district.
