Sunday Aborisade, AbujaThe Senate on Wednesday mandated the Nigeria Police Force to identify the killers of a lecturer with the Obafemi Awolowo University, Professor Jerome Elutayo Elusiyan, and bring the culprits to justice. The Senate also asked the Federal Government to place a premium on the lives of Nigerians during the festive season and beyond. The Senate, therefore, mandated the police authorities to expose the killers and bring them to justice. The Chairman, Senate Public Accounts Committee, Senator Mathew Urhoghide, lamented the death of the lecturer. He said Elusiyan was returning to Benin from Ambrose Ali University where he had gone to conduct an examination.
