Craig Kimbrel has the most career saves among active relievers, at 333. He’s coming off of a 42-save season for the World Series-champion Boston Red Sox. The Boston Red SoxGiven their current bullpen construction, it seems odd that the Red Sox haven’t shown more interest in retaining Kimbrel. Strop could be ready by opening day, but it was also a hamstring that took him out of the final weeks of the 2018 season. Regardless, Kimbrel has the track record and pedigree to overshadow a few bad months at the end of last season.
