An elderly man who tried to rescue a cat from a well fell into it and had to be rescued himself by firefighters. The professor's daughter-in-law saw him inside the 30ft well and called firefighters who used ropes to get the 83-year-old out. The video shows a firefighter at the bottom of the well tying some rope around the elderly man. The firefighters then slowly lift the man sitting in the gap tied with some rope and talk amongst themselves. He holds a flashlight so the firefighters can see him and steer correctly in the dark well.
