UAE authorities confirmed on Friday that an Egyptian national has died following an incident at the Habshan gas facilities, caused by falling debris from an intercepted Iranian aerial attack. According to a statement released by the Abu Dhabi Media Office (ADMO) via social media, the fatality occurred during the emergency evacuation of the site. While the interception prevented a direct strike, falling fragments ignited two separate fires within the facility. The injured include two Egyptian nationals and two Pakistani nationals, all of whom are reportedly receiving medical treatment. Authorities emphasized that the situation at the Habshan plant has been stabilized, though monitoring of the site continues.
