Poppy has become the first feature film to resume shooting in New Zealand since the Covid-19 lockdown. The film was three hours into the final week of shooting when the Level 4 lockdown announcement was made. Almost all the original shooting crew, including writer and director Linda Niccol, have returned to complete the film.
