The Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission is organizing the first ever three-day hackathon in the country at the National Center for Physics, Islamabad. According to the details, the hackathon aims to create a conducive environment for quantum research in the country. The hackathon is working on developing solutions based on quantum technology to achieve the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. Chairman Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission Dr. Raja Ali Raza Anwar said that the young people participating in the hackathon are the future scientific leaders of Pakistan. He said that the role of quantum technology is very important in solving the complex problems of today.
