Environment Canada has issued a winter weather travel advisory for Toronto and much of southern Ontario, where snow squalls are expected Thursday afternoon with temperatures dipping to -7 C overnight — but it will feel like – 16 C.It’s the first such warning of the season with road conditions and visibility expected to be affected starting with snowfall and rapidly falling temperatures in the late afternoon. Environment Canada issued similar warnings for Ottawa, Hamilton, Kingston, London, Sarnia and Waterloo, where 15 centimetres of snow could be expected. A cold front over southern Ontario will turn showers into flurries with untreated surfaces becoming icy and slippery.
