The national governing body has launched a search for a new figure to head up performance and Sara Symington, a former Team GB cyclist who has held senior positions in archery and netball, has already been backed by some in the sport. The search comes at a delicate time, with two investigations due to conclude into the circumstances around the resignation of Shane Sutton as technical director in April.
