To prepare for the hotly anticipated Avengers: Endgame, AMC Theaters is hosting a 59-hour-long marathon of all 22 MCU movies, culminating in Endgame, for those willing to subject themselves to such a sweaty, smelly experience. That being said, it would be a great idea to revisit certain films from the MCU before we reach a (temporary) conclusion in Endgame, but I think we can all agree that watching every single Marvel film is likely to forever kill the appeal of the superhero origin story. Endgame might just expose more of Thanos’ backstory, and is likely to further flesh out the spacey side of the MCU. The difficult relationship between Steve Rogers and Tony Stark is one of the most compelling storylines that unwinds throughout the decade of Marvel movies, and will surely reach its conclusion in Endgame, where we might even say goodbye to both characters. Seeing as Thor came infuriatingly close to stopping Thanos from snapping his fingers, he’s likely to sharpen his new axe in Endgame, and hopefully, aim for the head.
