He added that the crowd broke barricades, snatched and damaged a megaphone. Following the incident, the Delhi Police arrested five people and lodged an FIR at the Chandni Mahal police station. In the subsequent hours, the situation escalated and the crowd started throwing stones at the police, the FIR said. “We held meetings with locals and decided to pursue legal remedies instead of confrontation,” he said.
