Five suspects, including a couple, arrested with 11 human skulls in Kwara


Kwara state police command has arrested and paraded five suspected ritualists, including a couple, with 11 human skulls and many human bones. ALSO READ: Force-feeding babies leads to untimely death of infants ― PaediatricianSpeaking with journalists in Ilorin on Friday, the state commissioner of police, Bolaji Fafowora, said that eight dried heads and three fresh heads were found in the residence of the suspects, adding that suspected human hair were found in possession of the suspects. The police boss, who said that key suspect is a 37-year-old Yakubu Azeez, a commercial driver, added that other suspects are Salima Azeez, Isiah Wasiu, Abubakar Isiaka and Soliu Yakubu. He also said that some of the skulls were recovered from the ceiling where Yakubu and his wife lived while the others were recovered from the wife’s shop. The police boss said investigation was still in over the case and suspects would be charged to court.
