For the first four months of the season, the Flames had never suffered more than two straight regulation-time losses. The Flames were oh-so-close to evening up on a man-advantage early in the third, but Elias Lindholm’s deflection clanked the post. “We’re in a good spot, just have to get out of this funk,” Gaudreau said, agreeing with his goaltender after the fourth straight setback. The end result, however, was a fourth straight setback, their longest tail-spin of the season.
