The former commander of a vigilance group, OSPAC, in Igwuruta, in the Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State, Promise Nnawale, who was declared wanted for allegedly killing two indigenes, has been arrested. The police had said Nnawale was the prime suspect in the alleged murder of the two victims, Princewill Ogbonda and Peter Opurum, who were killed in 2020. Goodluck stated, “He had been on the run since this incident on November 21, 2020. The state police commissioner confirmed the arrest, adding that the suspect would be charged to court. Others were arrested and charged to court, so, now that he has been arrested, he will soon join them.
