Flood warnings are in place on stretches of the River Thames following a period of heavy rainfall. The Environment Agency has issued a flood warning for a section of the Thames which covers surrounding areas including Lower Shiplake and Wargrave. A flood alert is in place for a stretch of the River Thames from Hurley to Cookham, including Bisham, Marlow and Bourne End. A flood alert is also in force on the River Thames from Datchet to Shepperton Green, including Old Windsor and Wraysbury. River levels are expected to continue slowly rising, the Environment Agency said.
