Although the Florida Gators have worn blue and orange for decades now, I highly doubt that you've ever seen an orange alligator in the wild. Nike and Florida both realized this and have decided to dress the Gators like actual alligators for their home game against Texas A&M on Saturday. However, we never saw the Gators actually decide to dress up like their actual eponym. Indeed, the Gators have worn a variety of uniforms at The Swamp over the years. If we're judging this uniform based on whether or not it's an actual good football uniform, then they probably missed the mark.
