A new Des Moines Register/Mediacom survey showed DeSantis as the presidential candidate posing the biggest threat to Trump in Iowa. Haley and Trump, who has already announced his presidential bid, are also scheduled to visit the state. However, DeSantis is expected to wait for the conclusion of Florida’s current legislative session before formally launching his presidential campaign.
