A Florida county sheriff on Tuesday sent an email to his deputies ordering them not to wear masks while on duty or when they are in his office. The order from Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods extended to MCSO employees, as well as visitors, the Ocala Star-Banner reported. A spokesman for the sheriff's office told Fox News that the mandate is a "temporary policy." Woods’ order comes after last week’s emergency ordinance from the Ocala City Council mandating that masks be worn inside businesses. Fox News has reached out to the sheriff’s office for comment.
