Well-known flower villages in HCM City and the Mekong Delta are ready to welcome visitors during Tet (Lunar New Year) festival, which will begin on Feb 12 this year. Vo Ha Anh Tu, owner of the Nhi Binh flower village, said: “I love flowers. So I travelled across the country to collect beautiful kinds of flowers and then learned how to grow them.”After conducting several plant experiments, Tu succeeded in building the flower village. Another spot is Sa Dec Flower Village in Dong Thap province – the largest flower village in the Mekong Delta region. About 140kmfrom HCM City, the 100-year-old village is known for “having four springs” as locals grow flowers all year round.
