The Egyptian embassy in China said on Saturday that it is making great efforts to follow up on the conditions of the Egyptian community in Wuhan, China, which has been quarantined due to the spread of the new coronavirus. In a statement, the embassy said that the data reached so far shows that the total number of Egyptians in Wuhan city is about 315 Egyptian citizens. Chinese authorities have requested the embassy provide them with all details on Egyptians within Wuhan, and on any surrounding cities within the quarantine. Therefore, the embassy urged all Egyptians in these areas to provide the embassy with their data as written in their passports, and their address of residence in these cities. The embassy added that it had prepared a special form on its website and a phone number.
