PETALING JAYA: Several international friendly matches have been lined for the national team ahead of AFF Suzuki Cup from Nov 8 to Dec 15. 92 Kyrgyzstan at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on Oct 16. Hamidin said the friendly matches are the best platform for Harimau Malaya to improve on their current world ranking of 171. “Cheng Hoe will get to the test players during these matches before AFF Suzuki Cup,” said Hamidin. “Hopefully with this plan, the national team can produce positive results not just in these friendly matches but also in their AFF Suzuki Cup campaign.”For the AFF Suzuki Cup, Malaysia have been drawn in Group A together with Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos.
