In a promotional interview with Jesse Watters posted on July 11 on FoxNews.com, the word “American” appeared four times in a single paragraph. As the TV Blog reported earlier, the Fox News Channel reshuffle resulted from the vacancy left at 8 p.m. Eastern when Tucker Carlson exited the network in April. Four time periods were changed in the new lineup -- 7-8 p.m., 8-9 p.m., 10-11 p.m. and 11-midnight (all Eastern times). In the interview, Gutfeld never mentioned the potential benefit for America of his show moving from 11 p.m. to 10 p.m.
