Fast forward one year later, German is tied for the major league lead with six wins. Following a loss to Kansas City, there was 6 2/3 innings against the Angels and six innings in San Francisco. It also seems that when German releases the curveball, the motion is more fluid and less rushed. Based on what German has delivered so far, it's hard to disagree with the comments from Ottavino and Tauchman.
