For the fourth consecutive year, Vanderbilt University has been recognized by Forbes magazine as one of the “Best Employers in Tennessee.”Forbes partnered with market research company Statista to compile its annual list of America’s Best Employers by State. Data for the lists in all 50 states and Washington, D.C., was gathered by surveying 160,000 Americans working for businesses with at least 500 employees. The respondents were asked to rate their employers on a variety of criteria, including employee satisfaction, competitiveness of compensation and opportunities for advancement. “This acknowledgment reflects the dedication and commitment of Vanderbilt to fostering an environment where every employee feels valued, supported and empowered to grow,” said Cleo Rucker, associate vice chancellor and chief people experience officer. That’s down from 49 percent during the same period last year.
