Monrovia – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed the expulsion of two Liberian diplomats from the United Kingdom. FrontPageAfrica first reported the declaration of the Mr. Jay Napoleon Toquie II and Mr. Chester Dweh Barh as persona non grata on Monday. In international relations, a persona non grata is a foreign person who’s entering or remaining in a particular country is prohibited by that country's government. It’s an extreme condemnation a country can apply to a foreign diplomat, who is protected by immunity from arrest or prosecution. In acknowledgement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a release issued on Tuesday said the Government of Liberia has taken note of the U.K government’s decision.
