Foreign Office changes travel advice for France allowing Brits to go on holiday

The country is one of the first that will see UK travellers return since the travel ban was imposed in mid-March. The Foreign Office advice now states: "From 4 July, France is exempt from the FCO advice against all non-essential international travel. It warns: "Arrivals from the UK and some other countries are asked to self-isolate for 14 days on arrival in mainland France." In April, the Association of British Travel Agents said UK consumers were owed around £7 billion due to axed holidays. “Of that 34,000, 67 per cent remain unresolved, indicating that some 23,000 cases are still waiting for their complaint about their cancelled travel plans to be closed.”
