Foreign Minister Dr Khalilur Rahman and Prime Minister’s Adviser Humaiun Kobir held a bilateral meeting with Sir Chris Bryant, MP, the UK Minister of State for Trade, in London on Monday. UK Trade Envoy to Bangladesh Baroness Rosie Winterton of Doncaster, DBE, called on Khalilur and Humaiun at the Bangladesh High Commission in London. They discussed potential cooperation in the aviation sector and steps to make Bangladesh a regional aviation hub. The delegation also held two separate meetings to advance Bangladesh’s aviation sector. Professor Dapo Akande, UK’s candidate for the position of judge of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) for the 2027–2036 term, called on the foreign minister Rahman and prime minister’s adviser and presented his candidature.
