In line with the directives from the Federal Executive Council (FEC) to conduct a forensic audit for the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), the forensic auditors have begun physical verification of projects awarded and executed by the Commission in Abia State. Abia State which is one of the oil-producing states in the country has several projects constructed by the NDDC. The Principal Manager, Head of Projects NDDC Abia State Office, Kingsley Azu, conducted the forensic auditors to a 3.5km Umuomanta Mbawsi to Old Road road project in Isiala Ngwa Local Government Area constructed by the Commission. Also, Mr Azu showed the auditors a Solar Power project located at Akiirika-Uku Ndoki in Ukwa East of Abia State. Forensic auditors begin verification of NDDC projects in Abia
