A former Tennessee school bus driver who was on his phone when he crashed and killed six children apologized to the mourning families before a judge sentenced him to four years in prison. The 25-year-old was sentenced to fours years in prison for criminally negligent homicide after an emotional morning of testimony. Walker, 25, was driving 37 school children on November 21, 2017, when he flipped and crashed the bus into a tree. On November 21, 2017, Walker was driving a bus full of children from Woodmore Elementary School in Tennessee when the bus flipped. The National Transportation Safety Board will hold a hearing in Washington in May looking into the bus crash.
