Former Chairman of the Pension Reform Task Team, Dr Abdulrasheed Maina, was rushed to a private hospital in Abuja on Tuesday evening after he slumped while attempting to access his office premises. According to a statement issued by his media assistant, Barr Emmanuel Umahi Ekwe, the incident occurred on Tuesday. Maina reportedly lost his balance due to complications arising from an untreated knee injury, causing him to fall and hit his head on a staircase. The statement said medical personnel at the scene promptly administered first aid before he was transported to a private hospital in the Federal Capital Territory for urgent medical attention. Maina’s family and medical team are said to be closely monitoring his condition.
