If you haven't discovered the full features of your pirate cannons yet, Epic wants you to start exploring their potential. Pirate Cannons are what I'd call the signature item of Season 8, much the same way planes were the signature item of Season 7. There are a few scattered pirate cannons on trailers in odd places around the map, but by far the best place to get them is in pirate camps. These are ramshackle fortresses thrown up around the beginning of the season, all of which have a couple of pirate cannons thrown inside them. The best way I'd recommend for doing this is more or less the same as doing damage with the pirate cannon: head into Team Rumble and grab a cannon towards the center of the circle.
