First, the island in Loot Lake broke free of its earthly tethers and rose up above the map. Given that, however, the next stage of development felt almost inevitable: the island has begun to move. This would dovetail with earlier volcanic sound effects found in-game last season, though at the time people we were going to see a single, giant volcano in Loot Lake. Shortly after the launch of season 6 the island was seen hovering over Salty Springs on the in-game map, even though the "real" island was still back over Loot Lake. Hopefully this points to continued map changes that will keep things exciting from beginning to end, without any of those awkward lulls.
