Some quick-acting police officers saved a man who fell and hit his head on a Manhattan subway platform, the city police department said Friday night. Four officers responded around 9:40 p.m. last Saturday at the 110th Street and Lexington Avenue subway station in East Harlem. Witnesses told police that the 62-year-old man was breathing heavily before he fell and hit his head on the platform.
