Four police officers who responded to the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol have now died by suicide, the Metropolitan Police Department confirmed on Monday. Metropolitan Police Officer Kyle DeFreytag was found dead at his home last month, the agency confirmed to HuffPost. Two other officers have died by suicide following the insurrection: Howard Liebengood and Jeffery Smith.
