Most voters consider the partial government shutdown a major problem or, even worse, an emergency, according to a new Fox News Poll. CLICK TO READ THE COMPLETE POLL RESULTSMore voters say the federal shutdown is a bigger issue than the border: 75 percent consider the shutdown an emergency or major problem. While almost all Democrats (90 percent) blame Trump or congressional Republicans for the shutdown, GOP voters point to congressional Democrats (70 percent) and the president or congressional Republicans (16 percent). Ten percent of voters say the shutdown has caused their family “severe” hardship, and another 20 percent say “moderate” hardship. Fifty-four percent of voters say they couldn’t miss more than two paychecks before having trouble paying bills.
