In their defense, if I had cost this newspaper more than three-quarters of a billion dollars for peddling lies, I wouldn’t want to talk about it either. The truth dies as quickly from lies of omission as it does from lies of commission. The pretrial settlement of the Dominion case will allow the weasels at Fox to tiptoe away from the disaster they helped author. An $787.5 million settlement ain’t a tap on the wrist, but how do you put a price on the damage done to America by the Jan. 6 insurrectionists? Much of their anger was fueled by the lies fed to them by Fox and the former president.
