French President Emmanuel Macron called on people to donate money to help restore Notre Dame to its glory. The Bettencourt Meyers FamilyThe family of Francoise Bettencourt Meyers, the granddaughter of the founder of L’Oreal, also pledged 200 million euros ($226 million) to Notre Dame.
