Freedom fighter Abdul Latif Khan, 65, was severely injured after local youth Abu Khan, Pavel and Parvez beat him during the arbitration that was held at the yard of Union Parishad member Shahjahan Khan in Motra village, according to locals. The on-duty doctor at Tangail General Hospital declared Bir Abdul Latif dead when he was taken there.
