A court in Aix en Provence, southern France, Thursday, ordered the release of a TunisAir flight attendant arrested last Sunday at Marseille Provence Airport for smuggling cigarettes into France. The flight attendant, a lady, will be however sued for recidivism, reports say. French authorities at Marseille airport rounded three flight attendants on a TunisAir Marseille-bound flight for customs offence. Local media in Tunisia indicated that one steward and two airhostesses were accused of smuggling into the French city 3000 packs of cigarettes. The flight attendant freed on Thursday had been in the past subject to discipline sanctions after she was caught trying to smuggle jewelries for one of her acquaintances.
