Protests against President Macron spread to schools today, with over 100 lycées, or sixth-form colleges, picketed by protesting pupils. The Toulouse area was worst hit, with classes halted at 40 schools, and in the Paris suburbs 20 were closed. In Nice 1,000 pupils shouted “Macron resign!” — some clad in the high-vis vests that are the symbol of the demonstrations. Petrol began running out in Brittany as “yellow vest” protesters continued…
