Jets veteran Mathieu Perreault feels like the daddy, playing on a line with 19-year-old Kristian Vesalainen and 21-year-old Jack Roslovic. The threesome played together for the first pre-season game on Monday and will again in Edmonton, Thursday, the man they call “Frenchie” the greybeard of the bunch. “But when you look at our roster, I might be the fourth or fifth oldest guy on our team right now. “Frenchie and I are trying to help him out, and Frenchie’s still trying to help me out with a lot of things. We were pretty good in the playoffs… and with a guy like Kristian – it’s pretty easy to play with a skill guy like that.”
