A status yellow rain warning has been issued for Cork and Kerry, with heavy downpours expected to bring spot flooding and difficult travel conditions. Met Éireann said persistent rain, heavy at times, will affect both counties from 12pm on Saturday, February 14, until midnight on Sunday, February 15. A separate status yellow rain and snow warning has also been put in place for Cavan, Donegal, all of Connacht and Longford for the same time period. Flooding in DublinFlood water covers a park in north Dublin flooded after heavy rain overnight, with further weather warnings expected on Friday night. That yellow rain warning for Dublin and Wicklow has since expired.
