An arm of Frimley Heath has been shortlisted for an award for a project that monitors people with long term medical conditions remotely. Connected Care is part of the Frimley Health and Care Integrated Care System (ICS). Frimley runs hospitals, doctor’s surgeries and other health services in Windsor & Maidenhead and Slough, among other regions. For the project, patients with long term medical conditions were offered remote monitoring to help them stay well and receive care if they became ill. The project has been shortlisted for the Virtual Care Project of the Year category at the HSJ Partnership Awards, which celebrates improvements to healthcare and collaboration with the NHS.
