Search data on the image-sharing platform show how hobbies, interests, and plans have shifted through various stages of self-isolation. Users have already begun looking for escapes: “future apartment” searches increased by 70% and “future wedding” searches have grown by 40%. Already, “summer party” searches increased by 50% in the first two weeks of April compared to the same period in March while “event planning” searches jumped 33%.
