A frustrated headteacher issued the warning after saying the hard work of staff is being "compromised". Parents with children at Springside Primary in Bury received a stern letter earlier this week, before the region was put under even stricter Tier 3 rules. Headteacher Gillian Thornicroft said that "despite the many letters and reminders sent to parents' there have been 'daily examples of people who are not following the rules", the Manchester Evening News reports. Among the rulebreaking highlighted was parents arranging birthday parties and sleepovers for their kids. "Unfortunately we feel that this is being compromised by people outside school not following the guidelines.
