Now, doctors at Texas Medical Association (TMA) have put together a handy list of all the everyday activities that put you at the highest risk of catching the virus. “Please assume that participants in these activities are following currently recommended safety protocols when possible.”The list breaks activities up into five risk groups, ranging from low risk to high risk. At the bottom end of the scale, the doctors suggest that getting a takeaway, opening your post, playing tennis and going camping should be seen as low risk activities. Meanwhile, grocery shopping, going for a walk or fun, staying at a hotel for two nights, and spending an hour at a playground are listed as ‘low to moderate risk’ activities. To reduce your risk of coronavirus during any activity, make sure you regularly wash your hands with soap and water or hand sanitiser.
